So, since I just have tons of free time (yeah right, as I roll my eyes) I thought I would try my hand at editing photos. I took a few snap shots of miss Skyler and loaded them to my new found friend, Picnik! It's free and I'm in love! Now, mind you that I'm a total goober when it comes to doing anything on the computer. I have to say, I'm pretty proud of how this turned out. I love Fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. This is hands down my favorite time of year!! That reminds me.....I need to put my decorations on the porch!

Custom hand made Kandy TuTu's! I made this hot pink and black tutu out of the finest tulle. It has nearly 75 yards of tulle in it. It's poofy and cute to say the least! These are two of my favorite colors together! I think I will carve out time for a SpOOk-A-LiCIoUs tutu for HaLLoWeeN!

I thought I would post a photo of my last diaper cake creation. I made this for a young lady by the name of Taylor. This was my gift to her at her baby shower. Her theme was very girly, princess, and hot pink and zebra. Her baby girl's name is Bailey. Her nursery was also being decorated in hot pink & zebra so I knew I had to do a over the top cake and go all out, as foo foo as possible! I think it turned out just wonderful! It is 4 tiers high. It has a total of 120 Pamper's size 2 diapers. That way, she can enjoy it as a decoration before she has to take it apart!!! I bought a very heavy duty cake board and covered it in zebra fabric. This cake was so heavy that I had to insert 3 wooden dowel rods to support the weight of it. It has zebra ribbon, tulle, flowers, and zebra cut outs made of wood. I did her name in wooden letters that I painted hot pink! This cake turned out so cute it made me want a baby girl again! Don't get me wrong I'm super duper excited about having a baby boy.....Lord knows we've always wanted a little boy! Where does time go?

Well at 11:33 am this time last year I watched my sweet baby girl take her first breath! Skyler Sayge Bannister is 1 year old today! Awe....my baby is not such a baby anymore. I tell ya, time goes by just way to fast. Today is very bitter-sweet for me. I'm happy that she's growing healthy and strong and is learning new things daily. I'm sad that she's not a "baby baby" anymore and it very much her own little person. As a stay at home mom, I've witnessed all the "little" moments she's had in her 1st year of life. When I look back it makes me want to cry tears of joy at how precious she is and what a year of pure happiness she has brought to our family. I Love You Skyler! You will always be mommy and daddy's lil punkin' head! Kisses!

Well, I had good intentions to post photos of my bows, tutus, etc. However, my laptop is not reading my camera. Even when I use the USB cable it still one pick it up? Not sure whats going on but I can't load my pics! UGH very frustrating! So, once again....good intentions until I hit yet another road block. LOL!
